Hi, to everyone!
can you please advice smth about any current NY trends? I mean smth popular in leisure, IT, car industry or any other things that you may know!
I am from Kazakhstan (one of former Soviet Union's republic) and trying to find some idea for small&mid-sized bussines.
I know that there are many interesting thing&trends can be find in NY City because it is the center of universe

Actually, I think that many things that seems to be trend for me an everyday occurence for NY

Content provider services(cellular networks)
popular internet services and web sites
other new&fashionable services for majority of NY people

Organic foods? Or expensive coffee from another galaxy that cost $10 a cup
for the yuppies? :P

I wouldn't say there is a "must have" trend withing the whole nyc populous. There are so many diverse subgroups, that what is deemed "necessary" by one group of people...a whole other group is laughing at their stupidity. This is why nyc is great. No one looks at you and says "that fashion is so last year". Most people are individualistic. Those who are laughing at you are the ones who look down at people because of tangible objects they acquire. They truly don't have a real sense of self, and just follow a whole group of people similar to them.
