Suggest sitting in section 228-229 in Barclays Center, seats should be fairly cheap. This is where the deep Islanders fanbase gathers. They are loud and proud, you cannot have a sports fan-supporter experience like this at any other game in the NYC area. This is more of the classic sports team supporter experience, as opposed to the corporate-consumer experience offered at most American sports games.
