DeBlasio has quietly met with Trump and gave him whatever security measure he wanted. I believe he prefers Trump over Hillary because he never endorsed Hillary but he can't openly support Trump because of so many haters in the Democrat party.
Deblasio was probably licking Trump's feet.
Security measure? That is paid for by the federal government. All in the jurisdiction of the FBI and Secret Service. Deblasio is small peanuts but pretends he is on the national stage (which pisses off NYers)
