Is it worth visiting Coney Island in mid December for photos or is it too dead?

I love going there in winter. I discovered it by accident last winter when I had to go to the Coney Island DMV one day.

It's not completely dead. There will still be people out on the boardwalk, just not as much. Obviously the rides will not be open though, and it will be too cold for swimming. It will be a good opportunity for photos though, especially if there's snow and ice on the beach/boardwalk

Yes! A profound if cold experience, especially for photographers.
