Interesting New Yorker article by Margaret Talbot about a young attorney specializing in going after demented boyfriends who revenge themselves with sexual posts on the internet.

Carrie Goldberg is a pioneer in the field of sexual privacy, using the law to defend victims of hacking, leaking, and other online assaults.

stop screwing anonymous losers off gindr, tindr, and elsewhere and this might not be such a problem? Control your urges and be smart and you won't have to worry about looking like the nasty scrub you are for all to see!

It's disgusting they say this is a man versus women thing, since women secretly record stuff for uploading just as much as men.

Many of these people are actually in relationships when it comes to revenge porn they are not usually the result of hook-ups.

Good for her. Some people forget the digital world is forever, best not to send photos like that electronically. For the voyeurs who film people without permission and post it they should certainly be punished for it. It really can impact a life in a bad way.

Tech is great but hearing things like this make me miss the days of beepers and polaroids.

Unfortunately, (crazy) people do not take rejection well and will go through many lengths to embarrass others... That's a complete invasion of privacy and should be punished to the fullest extent. I've never been fond of sending any type of pictures to anyone I've been in a relationship with. You want to see me? See me in person...

Its incredible the lengths some will go to. You know maximum crazy has been reached when the person makes it thier mission in life to ruin another over a rejection. You get stalkers, revenge photo posters and worse. Anger and affairs of the heart bring out the WORST in some people.
