He was upset about getting a ticket and supposedly mouthed off to the cops who pulled him out of his vehicle and punched him after he was on the ground. Yes you should be polite to the cops but this is totally unacceptable behavior by them.

The problem is that the video starts with him already outside the car getting beaten on the pavement--so we don't see what led up to that.

Regardless, it does seem excessive.

He instigated the cops. Why do people still do that is beyond me? He could have taken his ticket and kept quiet and then internally cursed out the cops. But NOOO, this guy had to keep it real but the cops kept it more real!

Now, i guess he won the ghetto lottery. He will sue NYPD and settle out of court.

He was released without bail and was not charged with assault on the cops so their actions seem excessive. He was charged with disorderly conduct, probably for getting mad at receiving a parking ticket. Instead of calming the situation they tried to arrest him which he may have resisted (and was charged with). Once on the ground there is no justification for punching him several times in the head over a parking ticket. The cops should have walked away when he mouthed off to them. There is no indication he attacked them because he would have been charged with that if he did.

So what? This is still no reason for beating a man bloody over a parking ticket. We already know Black Lives Matter have gone too far but know it's time for Blue Lives Matters to be held accountable for their actions. Yes, NYC will pay out another lawsuit, but it's time to get the bad LEOs out of the NYPD.

He was resisting. If you look close the other officers were trying to cuff him and he kept pulling away.
Not saying the other cop should have hit him in the face, but officers are taught different physical compliance tactics when they are actively cuffing a prisoner.

P.S. I love how people who record these video's already "KNOW" that the person hasn't done anything without knowing the whole story.

It's OK though. This is NYC, you get paid handsomely for resisting police and acting like vermin. In two years you will hear the city settled with him for 2 Million. Why work? Just flight the police.
