So no interview only document drop off. I thought it was an interview one on one nope is in a community room with 4 people. You sit they ask you for all the documents they don't review anything with you they don't even review the money order I had forgotten to give it to them after I left 10 min later I went back to give it to the girl. They are super nice but not what I expected. Just make sure to have all your documents. So that won't delay the process from what I heard. Also if you have gone to court most likely when they check your credit they will see it. I have been fixing my credit for over a year and I didn't have no public record and all of a sudden a day after the interview boom a public record mind you the day of interview I check my credit I'm fine. So anyways I call equifax to find out what was that for the guy told me it was my management office I went to court to find out why was there a judgement against me they said no that is not a judgement against me that once we go to court it becomes public record but the only time it would show up is if someone from housing was looking into your credit. That they have a system they use they can see if I was taken to court if I had any eviction or depositions. That I needed to go to the attorney of the landlord and get a satisfaction of judgement and then send that to equifax and they would remove it. I did just that still waiting after 2 weeks. But it was removed like not even a week later because I told the equifax agent that I want to do investigation because that was false and I don't owe that. So I guess after they investigated they found out I didn't owe anything they removed it. Also I called my management and she told me she can give me a letter but I told her I wanted the satisfaction of judgement and she said I was fine. All this I did it on the 2nd. A day after the interview.
From what I have been reading and researching they cannot deny you just because of that and you never have been evicted. I also heard your credit score should be over 580.... something about having a combination of negative stuff such as bankruptcy, excessive loan or past due payments, etc.....
Also make sure that the income fits between the brackets cause anything out of it you'll get denied. Is this the first time for you? It is for me?
