still have yet to hear anything. Rep at HDC said he hasnt received file yet. This is stress! I read into other threads and someone said they waited on an approval from HDC for 2 months

@goodlyfela Got an email today (after i reached out again of course). I have been wait listed again. While I qualify income wise, i do not qualify for the studio I did before because of my family size?

All strange to me because while these apps were due in 9/2013, i didnt have a child.
My daughter was born in 2014. However when I was called in 2/2017 and again last month to submit income verification.

Not too sure how this will play out but I think its weird there is no stipulation in life changes when applying to these lotteries.

I'm still waiting since may...I submitted everything and was told that just waiting for HPD approval.

Hello guys, so the end of may I recieved my call that I've been selected and to send my updated documents. At that time I was accepting a one bedroom and they was going to put me on the waiting list for a two bedroom. So much time has passed I was told I would have to email to get updated information. I spoke to the young lady Tuesday and she mentioned I have been approved by the city for a two bedroom instead and now have been placed on the waiting. You have to keep emailing and calling. They haven't sent out any notices of update. She was able to tell me how many ppl was ahead of me and the rent amount. Hopefully this help I've learned you just have to get annoying

I shot an email today with regard to my "waitlist" status.
While they are "okay" with communicating, its all a hit and miss.

I was "waitlisted" once before and got an email 2 days after my first inquiry and was selected to bring in updated info.
As stated before, i do not know if my info even made it to the city for approval because after a bunch of emails and calls, I was told a studio would be too small for me and my daughter by the mgmt company.

But if you just turned down a 1 bedroom, I wonder what is available now.
Such a long wait, I'm sure your not the only one who got bumped up or just let go of the overall lottery.

I still want to have high hopes with this *crosses fingers*

@bkdk lord help me and my stress. Soo last Tuesday i spoke to the young lady nikia (don't know is I spelled it correct) and was told I was approved for a 2 bedroom and was number 3 on the waiting list. Thursday I received another call from someone else and was asked if everything was because they seen I've been calling ect. So I inform her what I was told on Tuesday and she said okay I will look into everything and call you back. By the end of the day I get a call to come in sign papers to move forward with the process.

So today I go and sit with the lady and she inform me that my paper work is NOW going down to HPD. I'm like what do you mean I emailed all the documents and the previous girl said she will send everything to the city. So this is all still for the one bedroom. My paper work NEVER went to the city since may the girl just was shaking her head because clearly the girl directed me wrong. But nikia is no longer with them.

I cried my head hurt just can't believe someone would lie and lie to string ppl along. But all my paper work is now signed and being sent to HPD for approval.

& this makes sense because before i was waitlisted, i go tin contact with hpd and they had no idea who i was. Wow @goodlyfela... Just wow! What number did you use to get in contact with them.
