It's not really feasible unless you live in queens or states Island and have a garage where you can charge your car. If you live in an apartment you can't plug it in on the street as of yet, and public charging stations are few and far between.

Another issue is no electric cars with 4x4 yet. I know many sedan drivers struggle through winter, but this is a no-go for me here in the northeast where we usually have one big storm a year at least

Well, still mulling this one over. I have indoor parking with outlets where I live and the place I mostly work at can also have the same, so this almost seems sensible, but I'd like to get a better feel from people who have driven around. I've read a few accounts online, but figured I'd cast a wider net to see more opinions.

Tesla makes an all-wheel drive SUV. Its sufficient for any winter we get here.

Echoing off of this.

How long does it take to charge the car?
How large are the batteries on average in mAh? Example: I have a Galaxy Note 4 with an extended 10,000 mAh battery, vs the standard 3220 mAh battery.
How long does one charge last?
Does the car come with gas gauge batteries? (The ones with the meter and percentage, not just the meter.)
