I like the dollar slice on 149th & 3rd right where the Checkers used to be. Solid slices. I don’t think value slices are for the homeless. I believe the fast food industry is starting to tap into the ‘Under the Influence’ market, which includes bud smokers. Price everything low so when people get fu**ed up, they know where to go
Two more good ones: Second Avenue, two doors North of East Fourth St.
and 108th and Third Avenue
Tried many and it seems like the chain of Joeys Pepperoni was always good until around 1yr ago now its very hit or miss. The only one that for the last 6-7yrs that has always been great is on 44st and 8th ave but i forget the name.
Rant: Speaking of pizza why can't anybody seem to make a decent pizza anymore.. either too much sauce, or cheese, or cheap dough...
It's getting ridiculous finding a decent slice this days, most are just mehh, young pizza makers this days just don't have it I guess ...
One great pizzeria is Pizza Park on 1233 1st Avenue in the city.
But two of my favorites are in Queens. Amore Pizzeria, and Lucia's pizzeria. Lucia's pizzeria in particular has the best slice I've ever tasted. It's right off Main Street, by the 7 train.
I wish I could find 99 cent pizza! There really was one right up the street from me (very tiny, but good dollar slices) and then they got evicted and it became a doggy day spa!!

Perhaps you are speaking of the $3.00 slices? Stick to the Dollar slices.

Well, can you work at the doggy day spa? I was thinking since you love your dog so much and don't seem so keen on your job (which also doesn't seem to have much in the way of advancement the way you put it), perhaps you should work with dogs in some capacity. And then get free dog products and have money for 99 cent pizza!

You have got to take the 6 train to 116th st, and have Milano’s on 2nd ave. Then, you need to hop back on the 6 train, and head on up to Brook Ave and have Golden Pizza in Moot Heaven

Nah. They were alright one time but they fell off. La Nostra on 110th & 2nd is good. Slices are regular price, not $1. Go there
