Did you just not read that I get paid (reimbursed) every week? That means that I put in my expenses for this week, this week and get paid next week. I can't wait for the monthly statements. Our company doesn't work the same as yours.

And you can go to the website, type in the date range needed and print away. The printout shows your transponder number, the date, the time and the toll.

Agreed. Those stupid arm things come down and slow down all the traffic. I go over the VZ roundtrip twice a week. Almost every day there is some idiot in the wrong lane or who has a problem that causes the arm to block them.

With the oncoming removal of toll booths on city crossings, I have to bring this topic up with the higher ups in my company. I really don't know how they'll adddress that yet.
You don't need to wait for monthly statements. You just go on the site and search for transactions between two dates. I get reimbursed monthly and I don't wait for a statement. At the end of each calendar month I download my transactions, save them as an Excel spreadsheet, delete the non-work-related transactions, and email the revised spreadsheet to payroll.

Gah. 2.5 hours to drive 46 miles today. Would be nice if trucks were banned from going over the VZ during hours when regular people are trying to get to work--eliminate a lot of traffic. They can make deliveries during non-rush hours.

Don't think that's gonna happen, though.

That wouldn't make much difference if any. If they'd actually finish the road construction and open all the lanes back up that would probably help though

Yeah, I'll be permanently retired before that happens.

I just don't understand why folks can't sign up and just put $40 on their Ezpass account. The toll cost $8!!
I usually just laugh at those idiots waiting for hours as I breeze by. But FYI the current Triboro problems are due to construction. There are plenty of times also when that bridge is jammed on the other side of the toll plaza
