Just witnessed a police arrest today outside of FMCP. It was a big scene many people taking vids of it.

The Park Police arrested this poor hispanic woman. She was with her young son, a baby, and her mother. It looks like she is one of the shopping cart turned food cart vendor selling the kebabs in the park. From the body language it seems like the shopping cart was the center of the dispute.

It got to the point where the young boy tried to push away the park police to protect his mother, but the park police eventually grab the mom, pull her down, and tries to cuff her. When this happens a few people from the parking lot come over with their smart phones and start recording. I overhear one of the women claim the arrested woman is pregnant. And they have her on the ground.

The little boy and grandma are crying, and everyone is ignoring the baby who is in the carriage sleeping. This all happens in the middle of street.

I am just waiting for someone to put this up on youtube or facebook or something.

Sounds like she was wrong, refused to submit to the authority of police effecting a lawful arrest, and now you think she deserves sympathy. Screw her.

The police may or may not have been in the wrong, but everyone needs to know that it's always better to make your case later rather than make a scene.

Ever been to municipal court in New York? There is no making your case later; if you're there you're guilty and you can beg for mercy and get it or not. Plead not guilty they throw the book at you.

unfortunately resisting arrest gives police the right to use violent force to subdue a person.

how you are equating that to nazi germany, i haven't slightest.

you seem to have a very narrow perspective of the world. like somebody who has spent their entire life in the exact same place.

while i don't like police either, i at least have the common sense to not attract their attention or put myself into a situation where they would have to use force to subdue me.
