Most of it goes too War and bombs, and NYs giant bloated police force. not anti-poverty programs. In fact food stamps, welfare, public housing have taken massive cuts every budget year. But go ahead keep demonizing the poor when your one or two paychecks from being in the same position they are in

Like, completely gut the defense budget? I really don't think that's a good idea.

You are missing the point. I am not demonizing the poor, in most cases it is not their fault. I am demonizing the politicians who keep taking and taking from the working people and giving it to poor people without actually helping them better their lives.

I am not for hand outs, but I'll be happy if they use my money for a leg up! Big difference.

Politicians use my money for short term programs to help them get re-elected. That's Bull

Tell Sec. of DoD and Homeland Security to create contingency budgets with 50% of spending and 75% of spending, with minimal reduction in effectiveness and pray for a happy medium.

Nearly every other entity public and private can follow Trump's "do more with less".
Our military budget is bloated, by billions upon billions.
