Queens food scene is getting worse, many good places close down due to NYC's high cost of business and I hear from people that owners and cooks retired and never passed down their work to the kids. Many new places that opened up misses on the ethnic authenticity.

Wrong. Take Uber. It will be cheaper and less stressful.

I mean, for someone who has never been to NYC and has enough time on their hands, they should try to see as much of it as they can, Midtown and Financial District included.

As some tidbit, I have enough annoyances getting people to even visit the Village/Lower East Side/Chinatown area. Had a friend who wants to move, called him out on never experiencing NYC, he stated he had hung out downtown before at the IHOP on 14th, I laughed and have since been ignoring his complaints. Dude lives on 168th and hasn't been to Brooklyn, Queens, or the Bronx much less places in his own neighborhood or nearby like Mama Sushi and Koronets Pizza tells me to come up which I have on several occasions but he never does the reverse. Some people.

Your right, although Uber costs can add up. I can't assume tourists will have the ability to navigate these streets as I can.

Uber will be cheaper than a car rental, gas, cost of parking, tickets, insurance, etc...

Not to mention the general stress of driving in the city. Plus parking in some areas will be impossible and a lot of good places will be passed over in favor of places with parking.

I challenge anyone to do the math.

Folks familiar with economics will also understand the need to calculate the probability and expected value of getting into an accident when driving in New York with a rental. It's an abstract concept many people will not understand but there are tons of hidden costs associated with renting a car to drive around the city beyond the daily car rental fee.

What type of distribution function would you use?
