But to answer your question... Imagine someone with scabies and herpes all over their lips, a feral pitbull with a bandana around it's neck, and comes from money... living on the street for fun! It's a mockery of homelessness. 21st century Boxcar Willies with iPhones and good drugs.

White midwesterner with dreadlocks who uses heroin and lives on the streets even though their parents make a middle class (for the midwest) salary and would willingly let them live in their basement and expects you to pay for their bongo drums.

Shorter term for Crust Punk. Young people who usually (but not always) come from a more stable place and strive to live the drifter culture. Many identify with the punk or skater scene. They usually travel from place to place. Some grow out of it and grow up with stability and story to tell. But the streets can eat one up quickly due to addiction, trouble with the law or violence. Some wind up never finding their way out.
