Except they mostly all SCAM the welfare system that Taxpayers fund and putting ZERO Money back into the system.
Where there is abuse of the system it needs to be shut down. I agree you can't cry poverty and collect food stamps while running an all cash business on the side and holding unaccounted for assets. Don't know how pervasive this sort of stuff is but someone in government is not doing their job
It is no more disgusting than its surrounding Brooklyn neighborhoods such as Southside, Bed-Stuy, Bushwick, etc... I'd actually say its less disgusting for the most part.
Am wondering where in the hell is Southside? Never heard of such a name in Brooklyn. Must be from some stupid realtor that made it up or whatever.
Little known fact, you know that "Kars 4 Kids" jingle and car donation program? It is 100% used to fund Hassidic children's programs. Good luck finding any Hassidic kids in any of the commercials though
Wow I didn't know that. I had heard it was a scam, but not in relation to them.

It is the Puerto Rican section of Williamsburg. It has been in existence for as long as I can remember. If anything, realtors would rather do away with it as a name (as they would for the Avenue of Puerto Rico for Graham Av in East Williamsburg ).
The major loopholes are at the Federal level with 401c3 charity status. The communities set up tax free organizations to provide food and services that mean they don't need much income to get a full slate of quality of life items and then qualify for public assistance from the State especially. There's no asset-based test to public assistance, it's purely income based
Another abuse is taking pubic money for education and then not properly teaching the required basic curriculum, or getting grants for community projects that could otherwise be funded by the groups

OMFG. I read this article and Jersey City is my hometown where I was born. The Greenville section is one of the worst areas of JC, but at the same time I always thought hells at least I can still move there maybe? I would not move there if it becomes a neighborhood infested with religious fanatics who would probably spit on me for being gay (they do it in Williamsburg apparent, especially if you are a female and show a little skin in the heat of summer). Also if you read the article it says they are aggressive in their tactics towards current homeowners there, that's not cool to have people knocking at your door and soliciting you like that.. It's a problem in some parts of Brooklyn as well. If I owned a house and they did that I would say SURE come in lets make a deal and then i'd blast some gay interracial porn just to watch them die of a heart attack on the spot.
I personally have no problem with the Orthodox living their lives traditionally. I think it's quite admirable, actually. I think some people are making too much out of nothing just because they are different
Come on over to Monroe and I'll take you to Kirayas Joel. You'll see tons of grown men who don't work bc they are "studying the Torah" for 50 years. These same men have 10 kids each with their spiritual but not legal wife so she can get welfare for 10 kids. They have the highest rate of food stamps in the country.
They are organized criminals. You can defend them all you want but until they destroy your community, you don't know.
Their mindset as a whole is that they should be provided for by us but they also despise us.
The only ones I've seen work are the ones who run home health agencies and I'm sure they have figured out ways to scam there, too.
I spend enough time in Pearl River to see and know what's going on their community. I have no love for the Satmars who do the same thing in Israel as they do in NY. Yes, if the men can figure out a way for them not to work and to simply study their books they will find a way to do so. Keep in mind that they are a socialist community and will get their women to share duties in the backgrounds of their community. As to wives, it's one husband to one wife: Period. Food stamps in the US has it's loopholes and if not closed then people can legally abuse them. They don't destroy communities, they turn communities in a way to fit their lifestyle. Their mindset that the general population should provide for them is something I totally agree with you on and yes they despise anyone who is not them.
Based on this post, what exactly is your beef with our statements? We're saying the same thing as you, yet when we say it, somehow it becomes anti-semitism. A few of my uncles and aunts married Jewish men or women years ago. In many ways my family is 1/2 Jewish. It's never even talked about because they're just regular people. Hasids are not regualr people. They're nothing like normal, every day Jews.
Are observant Muslims "normal" everyday people in your view?
