Wouldn't do it. The port morris, and Mott Haven areas are the one to watch. I like the fact that very recently a lot of the ratchet stores at the hub have shuttered

Trying to sell the boogie down to white yuppies. All this reconstruction being done in the Bronx is to cater to a specific demographic. Bronxites in certain areas are already feeling the exodus push out their neighborhoods.

My consideration is that I love Grand Central Parkway going north from like 149th sans that weird high 170s-180s area (ugh, Burnside Ave). The D and or the 4 is better than the 6 for me and it's slightly cheaper. Having been down to Buckner lately though, I have to agree. Mott Haven Bar and Grill is pretty good and there's a steakhouse there that I've been meaning to try.

Try Milk Burger on the Bruckner & St Anns. Good eating. That weird area in the 170s-180s you're talking about is rough.

Yeah, I have a friend near 177th and Jerome and one on Burnside further West that I went to go see. I got them down to 161st and told them no way in hell am I stepping foot up there again!
