Hope all is well with everyone. I am new and have a few questions regarding NY affordable housing application and would love to have your advice!
I am recently divorced and my current income alone would make me eligible for 80/20 affordable housing. However, my ex-husband and I filed taxes jointly in the past and our combined income was above the limit. I understand that income proof and tax returns of the past 2-3 years are required for the application. Would my situation disqualify me since my pre-divorce income exceeded the limit?
Also, I am subletting and my roommate is the leaseholder. I pay my rent in cash. Should I put my roommate information as the landlord information?
