I was watching bits of it in the new Ken Burns PBS documentary on Viet Nam. It was reportedly huge, and looked very interesting - and Martin Luther King, Jr. spoke.
I became active antiwar right around/just after then, I was still young & living in Nassau so my protest was in town mostly. By the time I got to St John's in 1969 I was part of a group that became the campus SDS chapter then. I remember the Moratorium was my first real big protest activity.
