Are you posting on here because you're having trouble filling the space? Since this is a forum and not a classifieds area I will assume you want some feedback.

All the photographers I know are using digital at this point, with the exception of one friend who built her own darkroom. so that leaves you looking for a ceramicist. I do know a few people working in this medium but it's not that common compared to all the other possibilities.

You also say you're looking for a freelancer, but it sounds from the ad and the photos that you would expect this person to work in their room beneath their loft bed-- yet you have 4000 sq feet of space total for 4 people!! This seems kind of stingy and honestly not that attractive a working situation. It seems like maybe the two of you who got there first are using the majority of the space for your own work and are attempting to pass this off as live/work to subsidize your own space.

Plus there's only one bathroom for 4 people, also not very enticing. And to top it off, the location is not great. Sure, it's near a subway but the Franklin Ave stop on the C is not exactly the best when all the high schools nearby let out in the afternoon.

edited to say: I think I may have mis-read the ad and maybe the place has one and a half bathrooms? This is not clear in the ad.

Perhaps one thing you could do if you're having trouble renting it out is to do a search on craigslist and see what your competition is for other writers who want to work from home (since the chances of finding a ceramicist don't seem that high to me). In 2 seconds I found a place I would much rather live if I were a writer

It's in a better, safer location with more amenities, it has a bedroom and attached study and you only share the bathroom and kitchen with one other person. And it's the same price as yours.

Maybe yours is overpriced?
