I've never met a white supremacist. They must make up an insignificant portion of population. That is not where the white power hides. You likely voted for where it hides.

That's because in the northeast they are probably like 0.00001% of the population

Go down south and you're looking at 0.01%

Those retards are shocking to look at, but they neither created nor maintain the inequality in our system. They are just a minor rabble that supports that inequality even though their own benefit from it is immeasurably small, being primarily composed of ill-educated, poorly paid white trash.

Unfortunately, the cause of inequality does not have a punchable face, so instead of focusing on the root of the problem, we attack flags, statues, and haircuts.

Soros, the Koch brothers, the Russians, and other 'big picture' players must be laughing themselves silly.

The tax bracket for combined income and investments over $1,000,000 a year should go back up to 90%. And close all the loopholes. Fixed!

Well, with the proposed tax cuts one bracket will go UP. And that is the lowest bracket, now 10%. It will be raised to 12 %. Funny, nobody sees fit to mention that.

If you’re on welfare, you are put on (reversible and free) birth control.

Plus, the city invests in mandatory after school and summer school programs for kids who are part of families on welfare to increase schooling and build skills and provides simple free meals. During those hours, if the parents after a certain period of time is unable to find or maintain steady work are placed by the city into work programs and the parent’s compensation is equivalent to minimum wage minus the welfare amount received with a floor on how small that wage can be.

This is a very small part of the issue though. The real issue is our tax policy makes it easy for money to pool up at the top and a campaign finance system that makes it easy for those with the wealth to influence policy to further strengthen them. The other is the leftover costs from our willingness to engage in military action abroad without much thought. We’re on the hook for something like 6 Trillion dollars for the Iraq War. That’s with a T—it’s a ludicruous amount of money for an unnecessary action that is the likely root cause for even further instability in the region. And remember, your fellow citizens with the intense lack of knowledge of the world and the blindly jingoistic bent has as much or even more voting power than you do even if they voted for Dubya twice.

You aren’t understanding what “white privelage and white supremacy” means.

It’s not about the individuality of white people. It’s about the systematic racism that has been in place for generations against black people. You have today many black families having first time college graduates first time homeowners, business owners etc. you think that’s a first for the majority of white famines in this country? the black community has been set back systematically so behind and then conditioned for mediocracy due to being dependent on a system. Generational wealth and education actually makes a difference for communities. Majority of black people are poor and uneducated and so were their parents, parents etc. look at trump obviously not the smartest tool in the shed by the wealth his father left behind positioned him to be successful. How many black people in trump era had the same starting point?

And people love to bring up immigrants success in response to why the black community faulters, but people don’t realize the immigrants that come here aren’t hindered by pass American racism. They have no ties to American history and are starting fresh and with a goal in mind the American Dream

I hope you know that black wealth in America is nothing new and it has been around for 400 years. It's just that no one talks about black wealth. Blacks owned land, blacks also owned black slaves and even indentured white slaves from Ireland. I love reading tanehisi Coates, Coates was on DNA roots segment where he found out his family were wealthy land owners, and had the most wealth than most blacks and even some white families I'm the area. Today his family still ownes land. His bougourise background stems from wealthy black land owners of thr day.

The two things that hurt black wealth are Jim crow, and integration. Even with Jim crow, blacks still owned business, property, and had high rates of marriage. Blacks even had thier own colleges. Jim crow marginalized black folks overall in the sphere of everything in this country. Now comes integration. Integration blacks and whites had to attend the same schools, blacks and to be hired for public jobs in some states and the list goes on. However with integration, black marriage rates decreased, and out of wedlock births increased to 70 percent, black businesses declined, black home ownership and land ownership decreased, even integration of allowed some black schools to now become majority white. However integration did allow blacks to enjoy the same benefits as whites in this country but it came at a price. The big issue now in America is institutional racsim. Jim crow and slavery is dead, and to be honest I do believe American blacks do deserve a 3rd set of reparations for 50 years of institutional racsim. Overall, we can no longer blame white supremacy, white privilege and patriarchy for everything and at times it gets tiring.

Also America practices thr worse version of capitalism. It's called Anglo Saxon capitalism which was bestowed on this country by the English settlers who created this country. From the day we are born, it is a rat race to the grave. Not everyone is going to be successful or have the means to be a productive member of society. This goes for both blacks and whites alike. Also like Anglo Saxon culture, Anglo Saxon culture practices thr individual and not the collective. Immigrants and descendents of immigrants practice economic collectivism thus able to ride the wave of economic prosperity. American blacks like thier white native counterparts practice the individual and not the collective, thus are not able to achieve economic momentum thanks to 400 years of Anglo Saxon thought that does not work for all people.

This is very true especially in places like Boston, dc nyc, san Francisco. Even wealthy Republicans wanted Hillary over Trump such as the Bushes and Koch brothers. The elites feared Bernie and Trump who both spoke with populist rhetoric.
