You see them at tables 3 x $5. They are in front of the Metropolitan Museum and on busy streets.

I bought some while there and now would like more - I can't seem to find the source-- anyone know ? do the street vendors work for a company?

I see them always in front of the new Metropolitan Museum Met-Breuer (formerly the old Whitney on 75th and Madison.)

Those covers are copyrighted by the New Yorker, the best magazine in the world and one which has never turned a profit in 75 years. The Newhouse family has kept it going. I hope they sue the ripoff artists. Order your NYer covers from the New Yorker online!!! They're not cheap nor should they be.

Wow! I did not know this! fascinating sorta. I actually loathe the covers as I barely ever understand their meanings. I'm dumb i guess.

Sorry, memory reboot. I went to the Met Breuer yesterday, no covers, but a terrific Munch show.

THe museum that ALWAYS has them is the front of the GUGGENHEIM on 89th and Fifth Ave.

Excuse the obvious, but why not call The New Yorker? Then at least they'd reap the profit.
