I don't go out much anymore but for anyone who does....is nightlife dead in NYC?!? I retired (lol) from clubbing in 04 so my understanding is that the mega club scene is no longer there. Also, I passed by the meat packing district last Saturday and it was practically dead!! What the hell happened to that area?!? Is Cielo still open?! I used to party in the city and now I live here but don't go out.

Monday - Friday for work.
Edit: a lot of times outside of work.

I'm in Manhattan more frequently in the warmer months. Less frequently during colder months.

Every Thursday, Boxer's (Hell's Kitchen) host gaymer nights. I go there to socialize with friends, play some video games and have a few Absolut cocktails. They're $6 all night, and pretty strong; I'm usually good with just 2, one if I pre-game at home before heading out. One of my best friends lives close by as well, so I sometimes pop by.

Some Sunday's I go to Mamajuana Cafe (Inwood) for brunch. $30 for banquet style brunch and unlimited mimosas / Jack Punch? Yes please.

In the Summer I'm down by Christopher Street Piers and frequenting Blockheads for a quesadilla and frozen margarita.
Gay Pride Parade is a must, but that's just once a year.

I think that's pretty much it aside from the movies.

I used to play Pokemon Go in Central Park some Saturdays, but I got bored. Plus it's way too cold now.

52 times a year minimum outside of work.
So you go to Manhattan every weekend? I know you live in the South Bronx, you're minutes away. Makes sense. I was about to ask, how old are you, 21? Smh

Guess you should pay attention to where you're going then, right?

I just turned 28. I have friends concentrated in Harlem, Sugar Hill, Inwood, Hell's Kitchen. Also, it's cuffing season, but since no one knows what they want, I've turned into a serial cuddler. Sometimes we alternate. If it's big gatherings I'll host at my place, otherwise I'll go to the city / Uptown.

Hahaha. So yes, I'm in Manhattan more than I'd like to be.

Actually, I should edit out the 52 times a year part. I only said that because of Thursday. Thursday's I go home after work, then come BACK into the city at 9. So I don't know if that counts as an extra "visit" into the city. Let's just say "a lot," f*ck it.

North Brooklyn and Lower Manhattan have a lot of good dance clubs and dive bars, however I would say North Brooklyn is better for the former.

Meatpacking is still popular but it seems really pretentious.
