Or if it's freezing.

Prices do fluctuate. I have taken Uber Pools from Tribeca to Inwood for only $8.60. Of course, it was summer and nice outside, and 4:00am.

Of course prices fluctuate. If you take a Uber whatever during rush hour it will cost you a decent price; rush hour + inclement weather or traffic incident then you will pay double.

If you take it outside of rush hour or during odd hours like 4 am then you will get a very attractive price.

That was not the case before. Yesterday night, I had to walk three blocks in extreme freezing temperatures to catch an Uber in a street I've never heard of.

It's bad enough this company was breached and everyone's confidential information is out there, now they're making people walk for a cab.

Anyone else experience this crap?

well I hope you didn't do that because what exactly would you be paying for if you have to walk three blocks?

uber always comes to you, she was using a discount version of uber called uberpool where you share the car with other people along a computer generated most efficient route.

Regardless if it's discounted or not if I am paying for a ride I should not have to walk three blocks.

No I believe in getting what I am paying for which is a uber driver arriving to where I am standing in the freezing cold.

The taxi's make more sense to me when shopping in Manhattan because they are always available. The one time I tried to get a Uber I had to end up cancelling and catch a taxi.
