I would definitely tip, as much as I can manage. You don’t tip for the past, you tip for the future.

I was tipping the super and maitanance guy last year for $25 each/moved in by last year by the end of October into affordable apartment lottery. This year doing same thing. They keeping our building very nice, both guys very helpful and friendly.

I think you can get by without tipping - but if someone there does something very helpful in the next month or two, tip him then.
