It's going to be almost 60 in the middle of this week. Oooof, the slush/sludge/human detritus puddles are gonna be NASTY to manuever. I suggest you steal a piece of plywood from a random construction site to put down and walk over each block til you make it to the subway. that's what I plan to do. the problem with this is when you do it and then people behind you are like OMG you're SO nice, thank you! but then you have to pick it up to bring it to the next block and the people you pull it up in front of give you a death glare. But whatever, steal your own piece of plywood!

Well, now it's 80 degrees at my desk so I turned off the both convectors.
Tomorrow we are supposed to hit 51 degrees.

Just read where a major winter storm is due for us this weekend along with another polar vortex (or bomb cyclone) is due. Oh goody.

It is only the 3rd week of winter after all. I hope we have many more sub-freezing days ahead to be honest.

Just what we need right now is slush, broken X-mas trees, walls of garbage piled up, and slow walking people on the sidewalk busy with their smartphones.
