I believe due to transportation inconvenience (Trains station - G train is too far per some reviews) I believe very few people have applied to this property. Also I heard that it's a hippie neighborhood, some might have chosen not to apply and live in the area. I remember someone highlighting it in another forum. Because activity for this housing is completely dead. I don't see anyone interested in the property. Still can't find out the main reason. Thanks though (:

No clue - I've never been to Greenpoint, so can't say anything about the neighborhood. My coworker bought a coop in that building though - he is still waiting for it to be completed. That said, I know he takes the G to work and rarely as he had an issue getting to work. He's renting an apt in the area until his apt is ready.

Thanks for your reply. I just got an email saying I was approved, my certification coming up next week. Not sure if anyone can clarify that for me. Does that mean that the city HDC also approved me? And my main question, I was qualified for a studio and 1 bedroom, but the email says I was approved for a studio. Not sure based on what they don't want to give me a 1 bedroom. I'm thinking maybe they just want to see my reaction to it, and if I want 1 bedroom. I really want to ask them for 1 bedroom, but then don't want to loose both. PLEASE, advise, I really don't know what to do. I haven't replied to the email yet. Looking for some advise. Also, the building I've applied for has at least 10 more 1 bedrooms. I am really thankful to whatever I'm being blessed with, just want to know other people experience in selection of units.
