NY Daily News now charging for digital access (move, places)

I guess they’re either breaking even or not making any money with all those pop-up ads, virus-ads, spamware, and other garbage from their website.

I found that out yesterday when I started reading the news to pass the time and in one shot I already used up my clicks for the month. Oh well.

No, it's still there. I think they're limiting people to five free articles a month. But the paywall is ridiculously easy to break.

Yeah I saw the headline of something I was interested in and couldn't read so I just Googled it and went to another article.

You can get around the paywall by reading the story from a link on the Daily News twitter account. Not every article is there but the major ones are.

I have not read NYDN for a few years thought they be shut down by now is talcum x still writing for them?

I opened up a link from their rag a while back and it ruined my pc lol. The amount of pop ups and malware "news sites" have these days have NOTHING on the porno sites, which seem to be totally benign these days.

Used to like the NYDN before the 2016 election. Now the NYDN is another liberal rag like the NYT and unfortunately Newsday.
