im going to be REALLY old by the time these roll out. I HATE that they don't have seating. But perhaps that is the future of NYC. Only people under 40 and non-disabled need apply?

It also looks like a giant homeless fart chamber
They are open gangway trains which means no doors to next rail car you can move freely around the train
New gen trains will tell you how long it will reach the next station, when it say reach close to station on Digital LED screen it tell how to transfer to next train or exit to streets.
It;s going to be just as much of a sardine chamber, except that NOW people who want/need to sit won't have many options. Not everyone wants to stand in a sardine container having to be touched like that. for what?

I’m already predicting that the A/F/R trains will get these trains. I live in Midwood and do want the B/Q trains to get them.
I hope the MTA buys a record of these cars.
the R is definitely getting them first according to a report i recently read. Whatever. I am going to be taking a portable retractible seat with me that I can keep in my pocket. I might also just start squatting on the floor of the train. I don't stand on trains, sorry. I get tons of exercise elsewhere. On the train I want to be in peace and relaxation to read, not have to stand face to face or face to armpit with some gross person. Lots of people are going to start bringing their own seats on the train if this happens.
