Dental and vision are done by the union. You will get that stuff a few days into training.

I don't mean to burst anyone's bubble. Obviously some people have hooks, But I'm hearing most guys from the September class will be sent to upper manhattan and the Bronx which is where they need a lot of guys.

Class didn’t start yet. Transfer it closed yet. Stop listening to everyone

Nothing new, thats the usual situation after almost every class. A lot of spots need to get filled in those districts because previous classes transfer closer to home.

Its a bit of a struggle for new guys working far from home, getting bounced around and doing the worse tasks, but you have to be thankful to be on the job and look at the bright side, there will be transfers again in the near future.

Best advice I can give to someone new, if you want to stay steady, grab a tissue as soon as you can!

Idk why people are saying you’re a know it all or don’t listen to what everyone says. What you’re saying is probably true since the July class that I was in was mainly sent to the Bronx, upper Manhattan, and Bk north. But either way talking about what’s going to happen after your 30 days in training is kind of useless now lol. The main thing you should be thinking about is getting your money together for the uniform, and get a good alarm clock because you don’t want to be late ever

Every new class gets sent to north Manhattan and the Bronx since the beginning of time. Not exactly ground breaking news. Your "hook" isn't getting you anywhere good out of class either. LOL How about you new guys get on the job first, pay your dues like you're supposed to and then maybe you can worry about what BJ spot you want to try and wiggle your way into.
