Congrats everyone! Remember, when reporting to Floyd Bennett Field, if you’re on time- you’re late; get there early
• Don’t fall asleep in class. Stand if you have to.
• Always Volunteer during training
• Bring lunch. Roach coach isn’t great and you don’t get time to leave.
Directions to FBF: If your not familiar with FBF and your not coming from the rockaways take the belt pkwy to exit 11s Flatbush ave. Just before the bridge make a left into the park and your first left after that. You will see guys in sanitation vehicles directing you which way to go after that.
Good Luck and congrats to everyone getting on. Enjoy your time in training. Take it serious but have some fun also. Get to know your classmates you will be working with them one time or another throughout your careers.
Wasn’t hard. Just had to read. All that studying and nothing was on the test
Exactly. Everything I studied wasnt on test. I read just fine, but literally nothing i studied was on exam. There were a bunch of easy ones but alot of questions my supervisors dont even know. I texted my supervisor and he said some questions sounded like some that hes studying for the GS test
At the Colombia society exam prep they said "Read the entire supervisor manual and all of these Ops Orders, General Order etc.... and you should do fine"
I took their word for it and read basically all of it.
I think I did OK. Definitely got a few wrong, but reading the supervisor manual completely helped tons. Took me a few weeks to read lol.
