That's an excellent list. Reminds me of that series they did several years ago on PBS with David Hartman and Barry Lewis where they walked through different areas of the City like Broadway, Central Park, 42nd Street and then the outer boroughs discussing the history and architecture.

Waaaaait. I do like the UWS and Washington Heights. I don’t know how I omitted them from the list. I wouldn’t mind living on a high floor in the 80’s on Riverside Drive in one of those pre war buildings

^^^ I assumed when you said Broadway from end to end you were including the UWS.

I almost added Washington Square, Union Square and Madison Square but with Broadway on your list you're either right there or close enough.

South Jamaica, Rochdale, and Springfield Gardens have a suburban feel to you? Not tryint to start an argument, just curious.
