Thr Bronx doesn't seem to even have that much Mexican food relative to its huge Mexican population, I wonder if that will change.
The Mexican population isn't that big in the Bronx...

They don't have a neighborhood in the Bronx though. Sure you can find them in Melrose or Morrisania, but it's not like they have a huge presence in any particular area in the Bronx. If I go Spanish Harlem, I can find several Mexican spots on 116th with Mexicans living there.

They don't have entire neighborhoods like Boyle Heights in Los Angeles, but there are several Bronx neighborhoods with large Mexican populations. Belmont, Mott Haven, Melrose, Morrisania, Soundview, Hunts Point, Longwood, etc. 138th st in Mott Haven is like a Little Mexico now.

My Mexican friend lives in Longwood and she says her entire building has been taken over by Mexicans, I bet that's a common scenario in many Bronx neighborhoods. On a related note, BrooklynJo said the same thing is happening in West Flatbush.

One thing that the Bronx has in somewhat large numbers is recent African, especially West African, immigrants and with that comes a handful of pretty decent restaurants (Central Brooklyn also has this).

Good point! So there are several ethnic cuisines you can find in the West Bronx alone.

Old topic, but Bensonhurst surprised me when it came to variety of foods. A lot of different Asian (including the city's only Burmese restaurant), some amazing Chinese bakeries, Georgian, Uzbek, Turkish, etc. Felt almost like a mini-Queens
