There have *always* been poor people in NYC, and no one was handing out discounted or free tokens.....


Again someone needs to rein in this some kind of city council and mayor; they've got so much money coming in they think it is a piggy bank dedicated to help their peeps, the "poor". Who by the way do very well in NYC compared to elsewhere already.


Time to cut taxes and give some of this surplus back to where it belongs; those that get up every day and earn.

If you're wealthy you can gets yours too. I know plenty of people who structure their businesses so they have near zero or even negative income for years on end and take the profits in one lump sum year in either a mega distribution or their ultimate sale of assets.
