What? The river separating BX from Manhattan is called the Harlem River. The rail yards are on the Harlem river waterfront. The Bronx river is on the completely opposite end of the Bronx peninsula...The rail yard next to the Bronx river near Hunts Point is called Oak Point.

This is utterly retarded to do such project. Yankee Stadium is good enough as a 2nd soccer stadium. Also that area is a bit of hike for transportation, compared to Yankee Stadium, Citifield, MSG, and Barclays which has subway stops directly next to them.

Makes me wonder why the 2nd ave subway was only designed for one borough and why it isn’t going to The Bronx.

The city and state does not have enough money to push it through the Bronx or even Brooklyn. The 2nd avenue subway line is a major disaster with and has been delayed for nearly a century.

playing soccer in baseball stadiums is a bit awkward. If NY wants to become a destination for such games, must have its own stadium.
