I'll guess Austin. Although I'm not familiar with the other cities, I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that Austin has more of that southern thing going on, with women being more likely to be in that conventionally feminine mode. Besides, if you're choosing based on attractiveness, NYC probably isn't right fo you, since the women here will be the smart, opinionated, acerbic kind, probably not your type.
Awesome, thanks for the insight everyone. It was really helpful
Austin women are better than nyc women. Austin women native Texans tend to keep to themselves. While some maybe up front. Also Texas women have better attitudes. Austin also has a fair amount of transplants, most coming from California due to the economic fallout of the state of California.
As for nyc? If you are white straight college educated male. Getting women should not be a problem here. The biggest problem is longterm which is the ultimate goal for women. US men we are gate keepers for anything longterm. Here in this city, you will meet a lot of women who have been up and down the river with men which did not go anywhere and the women bring that emotional baggage into the next relationship, especially these white transplant women, and college educated black women. Native nyc women are not any better either
In NY, you’re going to find a lot of women looking to settle down with a young version of Sex and the City’s ‘Mr Big.’ Or maybe a well-paid Columbia prof or a star writer, depending on their interests. They’d like a modest 1500 sq ft apartment, somewhere not too flash. SoHo or the Village would be fine.
If that’s you, you’re golden.
FWIW, I married a country girl who was curious about the world, read books, was politically involved, liked to travel internationally, wanted to pursue a useful STEM career and didn’t have silly expectations. If I was in the NY scene, I have zero doubt I’d still be single.
This is KILLING me.
*Modest* Oh my gawd. Thank you for that. It's a slow day, let's keep this up.
Man....a lot of bitter dudes I see. This is hilarious
For real...
I'm dating in NYC, and I'm doing absolutely fine.
I'm not rich by any means, I don't have the 1500 sq ft West Village apartment.. I'm doing absolutely fine. Dating in NYC as a late 20's, early 30's straight man could not possibly be any easier.

Haha definitely good to know. Especially since you live there
Does anyone actually date in NYC anymore? Or are they just on Tinder looking for hookups?
