LOL NO NO, Pathmark development, some realtors want to develop the lot into condos or rentals.

That's what I thought I heard, and maybe they'll stick a supermarket on the ground floor... Something more high-end than Pathmark.

Trader Joe’s should enter in a deal with Extell to construct a location on the ground floor of the former Pathmark site on 125th & East Harlem. It should stipulate that they want the old Pathmark location’s space but to completely raze it and have TJ’s architecture team design another, that blends in with the structure of the pending condo building

Harlem is alleged to be getting a Trader Joe’s on 110th & 8th as the anchor of the Circa Central Park building. I gather they’re waiting for the UWS location to open first before moving forward

I wouldn’t mind. It would do well. I’d like to see it somewhere on 125th one day

Not sure, but with the WF being in West Harlem, I'd say that's dead in the water. No way they're going to put TWO WF's in Harlem, and especially East Harlem. It still has a ways to go with the skells everywhere.

Many parts of Harlem's already been gentrified for years and I would argue that Harlem is safer than Brooklyn. Real estate sure isn't cheap there.
