I'm definitely putting those b*tches on full blast tonight. F*ck that!

Yesterday, tolerable at best.
Today... no, no, no.

Ya'll crack me up...3 days of heat. I believe some where biatching about the cold not to long ago.

We live in a climate that gets all weather. But when did Ny-ers become such complainers? Were we always this bad and the internet just made it more apparent?

Had to be at least 80 already, and we forget just last week, it was barely in the 50s on Sunday. Your body is still adjusting to the warm temps, hence why some are hot.

Being that it was just a few days ago people were complaining it was freezing (temps were chilly, but not that cold...), many buildings with central AC/heating likely haven't made the switch. Depending upon the type of system it can be easy or difficult to go between the two, nor not even possible once things are set up for one.

Same thing happens in Fall when it remains warm well into October or so but places still are blasting AC.

If I had a.c. I’d use it. I got the fan going.

It's not that muggy yet, at night it does drop to 60s and there's a cool breeze so I don't think it's that bad.

Here's a trick. Take some pots or pans and fill up with cold water with ice and put on your window and let the wind blow. You'll get a small cool breeze with it and it doesn't cost a penny in electric bills.

Hahaha!

Old school!

Back in the day when people had ice boxes (and later freezers) you put some ice in a bowl or whatever, set it in front of a fan and volia! You had "air conditioning". *LOL* Think there were even appliances that pretty much used this method.

I haven't used my air-conditioner so far this season. I did use my fan yesterday which was sufficient for me.
