Me and the will be in downtown NYC Fri and Sat. Would like to spend part of the day Friday in Brooklyn( or maybe we should go at night??) and would like to stroll through Brooklyn Heights and Williamsburg. Can anyone recommend some places/areas to see/stop by and also maybe grab lunch? Thank you

Radegast for lunch. Go to the grill and get the burgers and fries. Godlike quality in Williamsburg.

I'd walk around Brooklyn Heights to build up an appetite, then go to Williamsburg to eat. Brooklyn Heights has the superior architecture, but Williamsburg has the far better food options. You can bike share from one to the other down Flushing ave.

Agreed. Williamsburg has a far better restaurant and coffee shop scene. Several coffee places started in Williamsburg and have since opened up in Manhattan. Some examples:

-Toby's Estate
-Gotan

Both have locations in Manhattan.

I'm assuming the OP is into the hipster scene because a lot of these coffee places and restaurants are like that there. I will say that I can find Toby's Estate and Gotan to be rather pretentious.

While in Brooklyn Heights I'd imagine OP already plans on visiting Dumbo and Brooklyn Bridge Park.
