All I want is a supermarket with a real deli that slices up sandwich meat. My closest market is Food Emporium which only offers a small selection of pre-packaged meats.

I’m at the UWS Trader Joe’s now. Love it. It’s just the way I like it

Food Emporium... An overpriced garbage dump (literally). I've been to a few of them, but they generally smell something fierce. The one in Union Square gets the "luxury" of having all of the homeless hangout by there making the entrance filthy, and there is/was the one on the UES whose location I can't recall, but it has/had a downstairs area that smelled something fierce from a lack of cleaning of the refrigerated areas.

I am a bonafide fan of boars Head products. I go to the hood markets for my deli meats. They’re a little more heavy handed with the meats and cheese and usually weigh incorrectly

Busted. LOL. I go to the one in FG - In the past I would go to that one during lunch and put the appropriate grocery in the work refrigerator until it was time to go. Lucky enough, only one time stuff was stolen - but that's a different story.

lol I do the same, but luckily for me most of what I get at those times don't need refrigerating and it's a small office so I'd likely be able to figure out who the culprit was.

Haha - TG had these snacks called Hold the Cone (they were tiny, the perfect ice cream cone) I had one unopened box in a bubble envelope, sealed it and put in the freezer. Someone went and opened it - took two of the cones out . We have close to 400 people on my floor so I was never gonna know who the thief was.
