Interior looks cheap . . . they should've tried to keep as many of the original details/finishings as possible, even if it included restoration work. I'd never pay that amount of money for such a house in such a location. Don't get me wrong, ENY isn't the same ENY as it was in days gone by, but my point remains.

Not for nothing, I do prefer looking at this over a McMansion or 8 apartment building. Keeping the history from this neighborhood is a good thing.

House is in contract

Went to the open house, it was packed and received multiple offers. I have to say it was really nice and spacious. The pictures didn’t do it justice, having highland park across the street was also a huge draw.

1.5 million in East New York is unheard of.

I’m intrigued to see the prices once they fix up broadway junction/highland park and make a bike trail down either Fulton or Atlantic Avenue to the park. Will attract tons of people from central Brooklyn and Queens to utilize a beautiful park that has been neglected.
