HARLEM, NY — Architects revealed renderings of two new towers — a hotel and an apartment complex — coming to Harlem's 125th Street.

I'm very cautious when I hear about "luxury hotels" going up. Just gives the City another location to put the homeless without officially building a shelter there. They've been putting up homeless people in all of these "luxury hotels" across the city. If so many rooms are available to the City, then obviously there are too many "luxury hotels" that the tourists and the like DON'T want to pay for.

I know. That's why I don't understand why developers keep building these "luxury hotels". The Europeans coming here are generally not spending money like that, nor are the people from out of State. You see lots of tourists walking around, but very few of them spending big $$. That's another reason so many stores are going out of business. Lots of people just walking and LOOKING but not buying a damn thing. The only thing they are spending money on is things like food. Dare I say it, but a lot of these Europeans are cheap as hell. Just being honest, so that makes me wonder who these hotels are being built for...
There are a lot of people walking around acting rich, but as I said, not so many spending money.
