Doesn't look like dnainfo is coming back, which is a shame as I thorough enjoyed reading articles from that site. However, I fully support dnainfo's former owner's decision to do what he did. Hell, he even gave plenty of warning to the website's journalists of what would happen if they chose to unionize.
This is good especially since NY Daily news what’s you to pay for stories but I’m also saddened because daily news was the best at reporting crimes!

I always thought Gothamist was a good site. I hope people here will support it - and actually it will lead me to donate to WNYC, too, and I hope others feel the same.
They were a part of the deal. The radio stations bought their assets along with Gothamist, but chose to live not bring back Gothamist.
