Those sisters used to hit students with paddles back in the day, no? Or is that urban legend?

Kids got it good today. Big anti bully campaign which is a school rule. You can't even crack a slick racist comment without having a problem.

When I was running around, hookie parties, seeing drugs and guns, and even a few machete fights! Kids had to be more worried about getting sliced or smacked with a hammer, while getting jumped by a half dozen teens.and forbid you walk down the block with pink on!

Stealing cars and motor bikes was a weekend thing, and jumping the turnstyle was done in groups, even with police in the station. Tossing bottles or rotten fruit was normal, like holloween everyday .

Kids now a days have never lit a fire cracker, or shot a bottle rocket. Never jump the train or been in a street fight. Never even been sprayed by a fire hydrant, or realize it was a thing to get free school lunch in the summer, and burn off calories in the schoolyard.
