LOL. Another fee for the customer.

Or maybe every Uber/Lyft/Juno/Via in NYC needs to buy an APP Medallion (worth 200K the value of a Taxi medallion). Or Uber should lead the way and put a cap on Uber Driver for every city based on population and size of the city.

The MTA should do the same thing. ConEdison too. All TV/Internet suppliers.

Food establishments too. All Flights departing JFK and LGA too. I just asked my boss if he can tax me for the yellow cabs. You should all do the same.

Or maybe uncompetitive businesses should go out of business, otherwise we would still be paying surcharges on horse carriages.
The thing is, these medallion holders bought their medallions at their peak and they borrowed money to do so. They did their research and took the risk. They willingly signed over the dotted line when they took out a loan. They have to adopt now just like all other business owners.
