She was a free-spirited girl. Very cute. Israeli girl, tan skinned, short, busty, small hips and a big ol butt.
I had my fun with her.
Sounds like the Girlfriend Experience - someone very senior at a firm she used to work tried to pull that crap with my best friend even after she moved to San Fran- she was having none of it - he learned very quickly.
No offense to your friend. It was her choice. This guy was trying to turn her into his "side piece" even though she was always professional with him and he was old enough to be her father.
No, I don't think you can tell who is wealthy and who is not in NYC. My high end clients don't dress any differently than anyone else. And these days, ripped jeans are more expensive than those that are not. Clothing can be designer or knockoff that looks the same. Jewelry can be expensive with real diamonds or ziconium to look like diamonds. No one (hardly anyone) wears furs. Casual is in pretty much year round. And there can be extraordinarily high-priced condo buildings on the same blocks as rent-stabilized buildings. I think in NYC we blend in regardless of wealth.
The fat guy in the black suit stepping out of the Limo is a mobster.
The fat guy in the grey suit stepping out of Lincoln is a politician.
The fat guy in jeans stepping out of either car is the mechanic!

So true about the jeans. The pair I have on today is high end, $200+, but people wouldn’t know probably by looking at them. I honestly don’t care if jeans are $20 or $200; as long as they fit nicely.
Not necessarily. I work for a British Bank and lots of wealthy Brits are here in the New York office and I can tell you, this is not an accurate statement.

Do British dentists really suck that bad or something? I always wondered what the deal was with that stereotype.

lol... Probably Barclays. I often pass by that place on the way to my office. You see all of these young guys coming back with sugary drinks and things to eat. Large ice coffees and such.
Then right down the block there's Natixis (French bank). All of those bankers outside smoking like there's no tomorrow. Disgusting habit and definitely not good for the teeth. I'm sure some of them go to the coffee shop I frequent throwing their money around (Zibetto).
