That is true. I wouldn't mind living in a neighborhood with no driveways.
Realistically driveways should be behind the house. A lot of areas do but many areas dont. That’s one thing I like about sections of Philly that have the 1 family rowhomes. Almost all driveways and parking for the homeowner are behind the house with alleys between the blocks.
Lately I have noticed a lot of car accidents with injuries and fatalities NOT involving DUIs are increasingly Women now. And the female DUIs are also increasing.
This is the 2nd Woman in Brooklyn in the past 12 months to do a hit and run on a child. The Woman who did it last year was from Staten Island and had 2 kids herself.
I saw a similar parking lot on Bell Boulevard in Bayside. Cars drive on the sidewalk to get to or leave a parking spot as there is nothing separating the parking lot from the sidewalk and there are two curb cuts. How this is allowed I don't know.
Sad Sad Sad.....................Know this neighborhood so well. Use to be right by Hart Lanes Bowling Alley.
Back then you saw more cars than people. Today it's the other way around.
R.I.P. little angel.
What do you want to do, convert them into one-way streets?
The one way streets that are all over both areas are wider!
