How long does it take for a lottery to issue their log numbers? (apartments, tenant)

I just started applying to housing lotteries in March. Currently I have applications out on

Red Apple 86 Fleet Place
Dorie Miller Apartments
845 Grand Street
33 Bond Street
Montrose Park

All of which either closed in March or this month. Just curious as to how long it takes for them to issue log numbers and where those numbers can be found? In Housing Connect?

variable i got two lotteries one apply in june and the other in november and i was contacted by email assigned a #log in february around 4 to 6 months

Thanks for the reply! So the log number doesn't show up on Housing Connect, but is emailed to you?

It shows up on Housing Connect. Log numbers are generally posted 4-6 weeks after the lottery closes.

sorry for the confusion

when you close the lottery you will see the log number # in the housing connect website

then a months after if you win housing lottery for any building they will inform you by regular mail or internet, how you selected in your application.

Actually, that answer just made things more confusing. All those lotteries show as closed in Housing Connect but there is not a log number there yet. Do you mean to tell me they put the log numbers there immediately?

When the status of the process says close
Then goes on to another pending lottery process
In that part you are assigned a log #
And then goes through the tenant selection process

I was called for an interview on April 2 and on May 4 the told me they will be sending my file to hpd and i'm just waiting and im trying not to think about it but i just want to know already.
