I've never noticed rifled security at Trump Tower, but that does not mean they are not there at all those buildings.
But wouldn't you agree that there is a big difference between having discreet security versus the strutting aggression of having rifles at the front door? Especially on Fifth Avenue? It's next to Tiffany's, for god's sake.

And as we all know, Trump is nothing if not discreet.
I passed Trump Tower where there were previously only the usual uniformed doorman, but I now saw police armed with rifles.
Oh, nice addition to Fifth Avenue.
Nyc is filled with sjws, pro blacks and feminist. All of these toxic left wing nuts can be violent and will resort to violence when ready. So of course trump towers need protections. On the 2nd thought alt right and white nationalist are just as toxic as the left.

A heavy security presence attracts safety, deters crime, and it displays readiness for emergency. It is like a property risk management plan on steroids. It is wise, I believe.
