I see this as more likely. Why would they want to leave Brooklyn?

It's already a thing, I personally think Bushwick is more hipstery than Williamsburg

Upper Manhattan already has a large hipster presence too

My sister sent me a pic last weekend of Broadway closed because the hipsters had some type of flea market going on, lol. They have completely taken over!

The Williamsburg hipsters pride themselves in being Brooklynites. They will move to other parts of Brooklyn first before heading into manhattan

Brooklyn managed to build new hipster culture, the difference between the heights/Inwood to Williamsburg is too drastic of a change from housing stock to demographics.

Also the A/C/G as options in bed stuy. Prospect heights by Franklin and Washington Ave is also an alternative. Area is primed for more hipsters, they have options still in Brooklyn no need to move deep in manhattan to a semi Gentrifying area

They can even afford to be in LIC or downtown BK >>> Inwood

Same here. I wear ultra business casual. (khaki shorts with a nice polo or short sleeve shirt to show off the guns).

Hamilton Heights and Washington Heights substantially gentrified in recent years due to a variety of factors. The Columbia expansion. The fact that Hells Kitchen and the Upper West Side, which used to attract people working in the arts are now too expensive. So those into theatre, film, opera, publishing, among other arts now live in Upper Manhattan.

With that said I agree that it's more likely people who move out of Williamsburg will just move to other parts of Brooklyn. Or depending on where they live in Williamsburg they can just walk over to the J, M, Z trains. The M train is adding more runs to cope with this.
